Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome (NMS)
A medication-induced movement disorder, this potentially
fatal syndrome associated with neuroleptic
drugs used in the treatment of mental disorders is
characterized by severe muscle rigidity, fever, sweating, hypertension, and delirium sometimes progressing to coma.
