U.S. Preparations:
- Felbatol® (Wallace) FDA approved: as a
second line only treatment in patients with such severe epilepsy that risk of aplastic
anemia and/or liver failure is deemed warranted. With informed consent may be used as sole
treatment or adjunctive treatment for partial seizures with or without generalization, in
adults with epilepsy and as adjunctive treatment of partial and generalized seizures
associated with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome in children. 1993
