This chemical class of drugs usually refers to a group of antidepressants (and a few other drugs) sharing similar side effects and a triple ring molecular structure.

- Secondary amines: desipramine, nortriptyline, protriptyline
- Tertiary amines: amitriptyline, clomipramine, doxepin, imipramine, trimipramine
