Kempf's disease

Attributed to psychiatrist Edward J. Kempf, this postulated phenomenon, which may approximate a panic attack (although purportedly sometimes including psychotic symptoms) presumes etiology related to the patient's unconscious fear of harboring attraction to others of the same gender, triggered by a situation, usually involving advances by another of the same gender.
