Assistant district attorney Rachel tells Bruce, “Falcone floods our streets with crime and drugs...” (0:26)

Rachel tells Crane, “This is the third of Carmine Falcone’s thugs you’ve had declared insane and moved into your asylum.”

Bruce, now as Batman, tells police Sgt. Gordon, “Carmine Falcone brings in shipments of drugs every week.” (0:54)

Gordon tells another cop that Batman was “Just some nut.” (0:55)

Scientist Lucius: “Mr. Wayne... don’t think of me as an idiot.” (0:56)

Bruce tells Alfred, “Bats frighten me.” (0:59)

His thug Flass tells Falcone, referring to stuffed animals used for smuggling drugs, “The bears, they go straight to the dealers...” (1:00)

Rachel tells district attorney Carl Finch, “Drugs, prints, cargo manifests...“ (1:06)

CEO William Earle, referring to a proposed medal for Batman: “And a straightjacket to pin it on.” (1:09)

Crane tells an assistant, “He cut his wrists.”
”Probably looking for the insanity plea.” (1:11)

Crane finds Falcone with bandaged wrists. Falcone tells Crane, “I know you don’t want the cops to take a closer look at the drugs they seized, and I know about your experiments with your inmates of your nuthouse.”
Crane, referring to his mask: “Now... these crazies, they can’t stand it.”
Falcone: “So when did the nut take over the nuthouse?” (1:11)

Crane tells the assistant, referring to Falcone, “Well, he’s not faking...” (1:13)

Batman tells Gordon, referring to the drug shipment, “Only half went to the dealers.” (1:14)

Batman asks Flass, “Where were the other drugs going?”
Flass: “They went to some guy for a couple of days before they went to the dealers.”
”There was something else in the drugs...” (1:15)

Bruce tells Alfred, “I’ve felt these effects before, but this was so much more potent. It was some kind of hallucinogen...”
Lucius: ”I analyzed your blood, isolating the receptor compounds and the protein based catalyst.”
Bruce: “Someone’s passing around the weaponized hallucinogens...” (1:20)

Rachel tells Bruce, “It’s Falcone. Dr. Crane moved him to Arkham Asylum on suicide watch.” (1:21)

Rachel asks Crane, referring to Falcone, “Isn’t it convenient for a 52-year-old man who has no history of mental illness to suddenly have a complete psychotic breakdown just when he’s about to be indicted?”
Crane: “As you can see for yourself, there’s nothing convenient about his symptoms.”
”Patients suffering delusional episodes often focus their paranoia on an external tormentor, usually one conforming to Jungian archetypes, in this case a scarecrow.”
Rachel: “He’s drugged?”
Crane: “Psychopharmacology is my primary field.”
Rachel: “I do what I do to keep thugs like Flacone behind bars, not in therapy. I want my own psychiatric consultant to have full access to Falcone...” (1:24)

Crane shows Rachel his drug lab: “This is where we make the medicine.” (1:26)

Crane tells his thug, referring to Rachel, “I gave her a concentrated dose.” (1:27)

Batman tells Gordon, referring to Rachel, “Crane poisoned her with a psychotropic hallucinogen, a panic-inducing toxin.”
”Crane’s been smuggling his toxin hidden inside of Falcone’s drugs...” (1:30)

A technician tells Gordon, “Gotham’s entire water supply has been laced with it.”
Gordon: “Why haven’t we felt the effects?” (1:38)

Batman tells Rachel, “If I hadn’t your mind would now be lost.”
Holding up a syringe he tells her, “I’m gonna give you a sedative.” (1:38)

Bruce tells Alfred, referring to Rachel, “She’s downstairs, sedated.” (1:40)

Lucius tells Bruce, “The water supply won’t help you disperse an inhalant.” (1:42)

Henri (now as Ra's al Ghul) tells Bruce, “Your antics at the asylum have forced my hand.” (1:45)

Flass tells Gordon, “Yeah, I’ll raise the bridges when I get every available unit out here to catch the homicidal maniacs that are running loose out there.” (1:49)

An escaped mental patient calls Flass “Madman with a gun.” (1:51)

Henri tells his henchmen, “Gentlemen, time to spread the word, and the word is panic.” (1:53)

Batman tells Gordon, “If they hit the whole city with toxin, there’s nothing to stop Gotham from tearing itself apart from mass panic.” (1:55)
