Movement is Adler's term for behavior, and includes all thought, feeling, and action; the law of movement of the individual is therefore the basis of the style of livingMovement connotes the understanding of the human being as always in process, moving away from the felt minus toward a subjectively conceived fictional plus position, away from feelings of worthlessness (Minderwertigkeit) toward feelings of mastery and worthwhileness (Vollwertigkeit).
