Surgeon Dr. Gordon Ramsay tells Cadman, "... Someone struck me, and I lost consciousness."

Cadman dumps powder into Ramsay’s mug. 
”No, I won’t take my own life.” 
Cadman: ”It’s merely a sedative...” 
”Nind andhera, an east Indian drug...” (0:04)

Cadman injects Ramsay. Ramsay regains consciousness. 
Ramsay: ”It was the drug, wasn’t it?...” 
Cadman: “... in the furtherance of medical science...” (0:08)

Cadman’s surgical nurse Daphne tells Cadman, referring to Cadman’s wife Angelina, "You may be able to bring her out of the coma .." 
Cadman: ”Angelina... soon I will have... the courage to free you from your prison of unconsciousness... If I fail, I will destroy myself...” (0:19)

Ramsay tells Cadman, "... Dr. Monroe used to lecture on internal medicine...” 
Cadman: ”... Dr. Monroe was my associate in medicine..." 
”... we can restore him to sanity...” 
Ramsay: ”... Gall’s theory... he was discredited as a quack and phrenologist...” 
Cadman: ”Yes, but Gall didn’t carry his study far enough.”
”Take... a patient who’s been in a coma for weeks...” (0:21)

Cadman tells Ramsay, "... how clever men are..." (0:25)

Cadman tells Ramsay, "This I know to be the area of speech..." (0:30)

Daphne tells Ramsay, "It is not wise to wander the halls at night." 
Ramsay: ”Wise?...” (0:33)

Monroe’s daughter Laurie tells Ramsay, referring to Monroe, “... He used to be kind and gentle, understanding and wise...”
"... My mother died when I was born..." 
Ramsay: ”... in Daphne he’s found an emotional substitute for your mother.” 
Laurie: ”It all seems like such a nightmare.” 
Watchman Casimir appears mute. 
Laurie tells Cadman, referring to her Casimir, ”He can’t talk...” 
”... Cadman is planning another operation... to restore my father’s sanity... to satisfy his own curiosity...” 
Ramsay: ”This morning I spoke out of emotion... you’ve been under tremendous emotional strain... you’re somewhat confused, even deluded?” (0:36)

Cadman tells Ramsay, "Area of speech, right..." 
Ramsay: ”... the operation performed on the servant Casimir the mute?” 
Cadman: ”The action of my anesthetic, nind andhera, the black sleep.” 
Artist Odo tells Ramsay, ”... You had a fine funeral... ten mourners...” (0:41)

Ramsay dreams. (0:49)

Odo tells Carmoda Daily, "Sincerity is the cornerstone of my character..." 
Odo laces Carmoda’s wine with nind andhera. (0:50)

Detective sergeant Steele tells Odo, "... Miss Daily... encountered a drunken sailor in a pub." 
Odo: ”... imagine a sailor being drunk.” (0:57)

Cadman tells Ramsay, "... Patience is golden..." (0:59)

Ramsay tells Laurie, "At... medical school they hammered it into us... I’m sorry I said I thought you were deluded... I had a dream... a nightmare, really..." 
”... Where were the other... patients taken...?” (1:00)

Ramsay punches Cadman in the chin.
Cadman: ”... poor judgment on your part...” (1:08)

Ramsay tells Cadman, "...You’re a madman with an obsession." 
”I suppose you're very proud of yourself... Notations on a chart have replaced emotions.” (1:10)

Cadman asks Ramsay, referring to Cadman’s wife Angelina, "... your diagnosis?" 
”... Angelina Cadman, who has been in a coma now for over eight months...” 
Ramsay: ”In a coma for eight months?...” (1:11)

Cadman tells Odo, "You idiot, you." 
Odo: ”Idiot?” 
Laurie faints. (1:13)

Daphne tells Ramsay, "I’m going now to help ready the other patient." 
Referring to Dr. Monroe and Laurie: ”... He won’t harm her as long as she’s under anesthesia... Mongo goes into a rage.” 
Ramsay renders Mongo unconscious with a volatile anesthetic. (1:17)

Bohemond strikes Daphne on the head with his staff. (1:18)

Ramsay injects Laurie.
Monroe regains consciousness. 
Ramsay punches him in the face.
