Astronaut Taylor her tells his crewmates, "They look more or less human, but I think they're mute." (0:30)

Ape Zira tells the surgeon, "I'm an animal psychologist, that's all." (0:37)

Ape Dr. Zaius tells Zira, "But your behavioural studies are something else again." (0:41)

An ape guard tells Dr. Zaius, "I don't understand these animals psychologists." (0:45)

Cornelius tells Zira, "Maybe he is intelligent, but he's also, uh, crazy." (0:49)

Taylor screams: "It's a madhouse, a madhouse!" (1:01)

Astronaut Landon does not respond Taylor when the approaches and addresses him. Taylor sees a horseshoe-shaped scar on his shaved head. Lobotomy? (1:11)

Dr. Zaius tells the ape tribunal, referring to Landon, "But the beast could not speak, of course, nor will he ever speak." (1:13)

Zira tells the ape tribunal, "As an animal psychologist I have found no physiological defect to explain why humans are mute." (1:15)
